Always wear gloves when filling a propane tank?  

Why?  To prevent sever frost bite!

When refueling a propane tank, liquid propane is pumped from a storage tank to your smaller propane tank.

This liquid propane, can create temperatures as low as 44 below zero.

Without the use of gloves, severe frost bite can occur to any flesh coming in contact with the escaping liquid propane.
